TL;DR
When you RSVP to an event on Klub and verify your phone, we may send up to 3 transactional SMS messages per event (confirmation, 24-hour reminder, optional waitlist update). These are not marketing messages. Reply STOP to any message to immediately and permanently unsubscribe. Message and data rates may apply.
You opt in by tapping Going / Maybe / Can't go on a public event in the Klub mobile or web app, then entering your phone number to receive a 6-digit verification code. We don't send any SMS to you until you've completed that step. Above the phone-number input, we show this disclaimer:
“By continuing you agree to receive RSVP-related SMS from Klub. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. See klub.com/privacy.”
All Klub RSVP messages are transactional — never marketing. After you opt in, expect up to three message types per event you've RSVP'd to:
Typically 1–3 messages per event you RSVP to: a confirmation when you say you're going, a reminder ~24 hours before the event, and (only if you were waitlisted) a notification if a spot opens up. We do not send marketing SMS through this channel.
Reply STOP to any message and we will immediately unsubscribe your number from all Klub SMS — no further messages will be sent. Reply HELP for support information. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
SMS delivery is handled by Twilio Inc. on our behalf. Your phone number is used to send these RSVP-related notifications and to identify your Klub account; it is not sold or shared with third parties. The verification code (OTP) we send to confirm your RSVP is generated and validated by Twilio Verify, not stored on Klub servers.
